Pot Holder Pattern

The Rocky Mountain High

Pot Holder

Return to Home Page

Well, this pot holder was made on vacation in Colorado. If you can see the little green pine trees, the winding mountain road in this pot holder, then you see why I call it Rocky Mountain High. Or, maybe I just like John Denver's song.

. . . here I am, sitting right at the top of the world, smack dab on the continental divide, specifically on Mount Evans in Colorado. Of course, I wasn't really sitting there crocheting, this is a staged photo. But I do carry my crochet wherever I go and it seemed like a good idea at the time to take it out and get my picture taken.

#10 DMC Cebelia Cotton Crochet Thread - Ecru, Christmas Green #7 Crochet Hook (1.65 mm)

Stitches: 4-Triple-Crochet Popcorn (4-tc-pc): Make 4 triple crochets, drop loop, insert hook in top of 1st triple crochet, catch dropped loop and pull through, ch 1. When making a beginning 4-tc-pc, ch-4 equals the first triple crochet, just draw the dropped loop through the fourth ch, ch 1
